My roots began in the Midwest where I was raised in a tight-knit community within Toledo, Ohio called Ottawa Hills. It’s here where I learned the values of family and friendship, and the rigors of hard work and discipline in order to be successful in academics and athletics.

Growing up I always had a passion for being involved in team oriented activities. This passion led me to becoming a successful three-sport athlete in high school and eventually play collegiate baseball until I studied abroad for a semester in Rome, Italy.

Studying abroad, where I focused my studies on international finance while traveling across Europe, gave me a unique perspective on my future. I decided to commit myself to the world of finance and investing.  While doing so, I discovered many pronounced similarities between finance and sports. These similarities such as teamwork, communication, discipline, integrity, and humor (to name a handful) created a steady foundation that I could thrive in.

Shortly after graduating, I worked for over 12 years at a small multi-family office and asset management firm. My responsibilities started off as a Portfolio Accounting Associate which later transitioned to several Operations/Middle Office Roles, to finally Head of Operations managing a team of five professionals. The scope of the operations team included fund accounting, client reporting, model and client rebalancing, trade execution, issuing product marketing materials, client relations, compliance, researching and implementing new technologies, and monitoring the daily workflow of the Firm. I was also a member of the Investment and Best Execution Committee.

All good things that end means another good thing can begin.  After speaking with Paul Strid and the rest of the team at Concentus and hearing about the Firm’s history, the people, culture, and core values, I instantly was intrigued. Their approach as fiduciaries and the commitment to not only their Clients, but to their Employees as well, went above and beyond the industry norm. I look forward to my next chapter of working with a great team of people upholding the Concentus’ core values of Contribution, Fun, Family, Optimism, and Integrity.

My Prior Experience

Began my career working as a Portfolio Accounting Associate at a multi-family office & asset management firm, then later became a Senior Member of the middle office team, and finally as Operations Manager and Lead Trader.

Born and raised in Toledo, Ohio and descendent of the Brewster family that sailed on the Mayflower. I currently live in Ambler, PA, with my family.
